A young rapper named Patrick Jorgensen impressed the judges with his heart touching performance in the auditions of Norway’s Got Talent in 2015. He paid tributes to his mother, who died of cancer.
Patrick’s rap performance made judges emotional and made one of the judges to hug him, and another to hit the Golden Buzzer for him. See his performance in the video below.
Patrick Jorgensen Performs On ‘Norway’s Got Talent’ stage
The 23-year old Patrick Jorgensen told the judges, “The song I’ll be singing for you today is about my mother”. He said that he had shared this song called “Million Questions”, with his mother just 4 days before she died of cancer.
“Her response was all I needed”. Patrick said, further adding that his mother asked to play this song again. He raps in the song, “Mama, I’mma never stop talking to you”. “Don’t you ever stop talking back to me”.
Patrick’s heartfelt performance impressed the judges and some of them had tears in their eyes. After his performance, one of the judges on the panel, Mia Gundersen stood up and approached Patrick to hug him saying, “Do you know what? You need a big hug.”

While Mia was hugging Patrick, another judge on the panel Linn Skaber climbed onto the desk to hit the Golden Buzzer. She compared his rapping to Eminem and said he conveyed his message “brilliantly”.
Lin further added, “I can hear everything you say”, “You are talented. You’re dramatic. You’re like an opera singer showing your feelings. You keep your focus and demand that we follow you on your journey. And we do.”
Another judge Suleman Malik said to Patrick, “Your flow is amazing”. “The audience really enjoyed it. You deserved the Golden Buzzer.”
After receiving the Golden Buzzer, Patrick moved straight to the semi-finals where he again performed a song about his mother. He ended up being in second place in the competition. He also released an album called Lifeline. You can follow him on Instagram
